2012 visual effects
Saturday I got to see the 2012 movie. The visual effects in that movie were the most photo-realistic I have ever seen and the entirety of the disaster scenes were done in cg. I found it amazing how seamlessly they were able to blend the cg with the live action to perfection. And while watching the movie on the big screen I found myself marveling at how much time and how big a team of artists it must have took to render the visual effects of the movie so photo-realistically.
